Bernie Sanders wants America to apologize for slavery

Bernie Sanders, the grumpy old socialist, wants to be President so he can apologize for slavery. We’re assuming that means President Obama won’t be doing that during his final year in office.

“As a nation — I don’t think as a president, but as a nation — we have got to apologize for slavery,” Sanders told Sirius XM radio host Joe Madison. “As a nation we have got to apologize for slavery, and of course the president is the leader of the nation.”

Sanders himself may feel a little guilty over slavery because he was actually alive when it was still legal in this country. We’re just anxious to see exactly who he thinks we should apologize to.
