Hercules’ Kevin Sorbo: Churches need to ‘wake up’

Hercules has issued a rallying cry – to the Christian Church.

Actor Kevin Sorbo, in an interview with the Church Boys podcast, criticized the complacency of today’s church, and challenged pastors to get their congregations involved in the political process. The star of God’s Not Dead talked about the importance of getting out of the pews and into the public sector:

Seventy-five percent of Christians … didn’t even vote in the last two elections. Well, you know what? You get the government you deserve. You’ve got to get out there. Pastors have got to wake their congregations up. You can’t sit there and say that religion and politics shouldn’t be mixed — of course they’re mixed.
