Lindsey Graham: No one would mind if Ted Cruz were killed

Senator Lindsey Graham is no fan of Ted Cruz – but a joke he recently told about him may have gone too far.

While speaking at the Washington Press Club Foundation dinner on Thursday, Graham told the crowd “If you kill Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial is at the Senate, no one will convict you.”

Here is the tweet from NBC reporter Frank Thorp, who reported on Graham’s comments:

Wow, Lindsey, that was harsh. Sure, Ted is self-serving and prone to pandering to the base. He also hasn’t endeared himself to his fellow Senators and will throw them under the bus to prop himself up as a “Washington outsider,” but wishing death on him and saying no one would care is a bit much.
