Symbolism? Echoing her campaign, backdrop at Hillary Clinton event collapses (VIDEO)

When it rains, it pours. Just ask Hillary Clinton.

At a Clinton rally held Thursday (September 10) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the backdrop for the stage Clinton was to speak at collapsed minutes before the event started, taking down the American flag and the Wisconsin state flag with it. Clinton was not in the room at the time, but the small crowd in attendance saw it happen. No one was injured and the event carried on as usual after the backdrop was fixed.

The backdrop is perhaps an unfortunate metaphor for the state of the Clinton campaign right now. She’s losing momentum, Bernie Sanders is on the rise, and even “Crazy Uncle” Joe Biden is looking like a solid candidate now. It’s no wonder even the stage decorations are bailing on her.
