Boehner slams Eric Holder for race-baiting attacks on the GOP

House Speaker John Boehner blasted Attorney General Eric Holder on Thursday for suggesting that Republicans only attack him because he's black.

'There is no issue of race here,' he told a reporter during his weekly press briefing on Capitol Hill.

Holder went off-script Wednesday during a speech to Al Sharpton's National Action Network, slammed Republicans for consistently attacking him and Barack Obama because they are the first African-Americans to hold their jobs.

Rutgers Rage Against Rice: Professors Protesting Black Conservative Commencement Speaker

Have you heard the news?

Condoleezza Rice lacks “moral authority.” She fails to meet the standards of “exemplary citizenship” and she does not have what it takes to “inspire” graduating college seniors.

That crazy thinking comes from the New Brunswick Faculty Council of Rutgers University. They voted last week to ask university leadership to cancel Rice’s invitation to be this year’s Commencement Speaker and receive an honorary degree.

The Brother Barack Obama Doesn’t ‘Keep’

The goal of the president’s newest racially divisive effort, “My Brother’s Keeper,” is to set black and Latino male youth apart from white male youth.  It centers on recruiting businesses and foundations to donate $200 million over five years towards programs that will benefit young males of color.  Apparently, much like Barack Obama’s real brothers, needy boys with little or ‘no color,’ as well women and girls of any color, will have to tough it out on their own...

CNN’s Don Lemon on Brother’s Keeper Program: Yesterday, Obama ‘Became the Black President’

CNN anchor Don Lemon became visibly emotional on Thursday after President Barack Obama announced an initiative aimed at helping minority youth to graduate from high school and train for careers. On Friday, Lemon expanded on his impressions, telling CNN anchor Carol Costello that Obama “became the black president” in that moment.

“It sounds like a great program,” Costello remarked. “But, Don, as you well know, it takes more than money and programs to solve racism.”

“Do you think the president will continue to be vocal, to be blunt, since his term is ending?” she asked. “Is this a time to be America’s black president?”
