Despite The Bridge Scandal, Gov. Christie ‘Readier’ To Be President

Asked about running for the White House, which he refused to do in 2012 because he wasn’t ready, Christie said, “I’m readier, if that’s a word.” Christie added, “I think it is most likely that the next Republican nominee for president will be a governor.”

The bridge affair has clearly derailed Christie’s potential bid and agenda, but it didn’t sound like it was something he thought he couldn’t survive...
