White House ‘Disappointed’ by Donor Limits Ruling

The White House on Wednesday criticized a Supreme Court decisionthat struck down overall limits on political contributions from individuals.

“We are, in fact, disappointed by the decision that was announced today,” said White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Michigan with the president.

Harry Reid’s America

During a frenzied outburst on the Senate floor Wednesday, Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) denounced cancer-research barons Charles and David Koch as “about as un-American as anyone that I can imagine” and accused them of trying to “buy our democracy.”

We are interested to learn more about what sort of activity Reid considers “un-American.”

Would that include helping a Chinese-owned wind farm secure $450 million in stimulus funding to build a factory in Reid’s home state of Nevada after receiving thousands of dollars in campaign donation’s from the wind farm’s backers?...

Obama donor gained nearly $1 billion in tax credits from Solyndra bankruptcy

Most people who follow the news are aware that President Obama invested $527 million in Solyndra, the now-bankrupt California-based solar panel manufacturing company.
