Eric Holder is Funding Leftist FRAUDS “ACORN 2.0”

By:¬†Katrina Jorgensen Remember ACORN (Association of Community Organization for Reform Now)? The liberal organization caught in scandal, voter registration fraud and embezzlement? A group so obviously in the wrong that the Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal on their funding ban? Well, a number of political action groups, the reincarnation of disbanded ACRON have found a lucrative source of ... Read More »

Obama’s politicized, lawless executive branch

Under the administration of President Obama, as never before in my lifetime, there is reason to be a bit afraid of the federal government. I have written two books documenting Obama's abuses of power, his assaults on the Constitution, his wars against business and energy, his abominably reckless spending, his divisiveness, his renegade Justice Department, his regulatory expansion, his executive orders, his overall lawlessness, and more. Obama's conduct concerning Obamacare alone would be enough...

House Committee Votes to Refer Lois Lerner for Criminal Charges

On Wednesday, the House Ways and Means Committee voted to refer former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution. By a vote of 23 to 14, a closed-door session of the House committee determined that Lerner’s role in the alleged singling out of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status for undue scrutiny was a criminal act.

The vote was “just another attempt by Republicans to vilify Ms. Lerner for political gain,” according to the ex-IRS official’s attorney, William Taylor...

Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Texas) at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday refused to question Attorney General Eric Holder, considering that Holder was held in contempt of Congress, adding that any other American who did not comply with a DOJ subpoena “would be in jail.” “If an American citizen had not complied with one of the Justice Department subpoenas, they would be in jail, not sitting here … testifying,” Farenthold said. - See more at: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/melanie-hunter/gop-congressman-holder-anyone-else-would-be-jail#sthash.NssUwRoV.dpuf

Senate Rejects Obama DOJ Nominee Who Defended Cop Killer

The Senate voted 47-52 Wednesday to reject controversial nominee Debo Adegbile as an assistant attorney general.

Seven Democrats voted against moving forward with President Obama’s nomination of Adegbile, which the Fraternal Order of Police and other groups opposed because of his involvement in the defense of Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was convicted of killing a Philadelphia police officer in 1981.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) then switched his vote from yes to no in a move that allows him to bring the nomination up again for a future vote.

Every Republican also voted against the nomination, sending it to defeat. It's the first time a nomination has gone down since Democrats changed the Senate's filibuster rules so that only bare-majority votes are needed on procedural motions...

Senate Judiciary Committee Approves Controversial DOJ Nominee on Party Lines

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday approved President Obama’s nominee to head the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, who had drawn scorn from some Republicans and police unions.

Adegbile was approved on a 10-8 party-line vote...

Widow of Fallen Cop Blocked From Testifying Against Obama DOJ Pick Debo Adegbile

Last month Maureen Faulker, the widow of murdered Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, requested a chance to give testimony against President Obama's nominee to head the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. Her husband was killed in 1981 by former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was convicted of murder in 1982. Thirty years after the conviction, nominee Debo Adegbilevoluntarily took up Abu-Jamal's case and the cause in the name of race during his time as the head of NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Republican Senator Chuck Grassley asked for Faulkner's request to present testimony be granted, but Democrats have blocked her from doing so. The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote today on Adegbile's nomination...
